Abstract
Since the latter half of the 1990s, electronics industry has rapidly lost its position in the global market. And the management of electronics companies has deteriorated. Electronics companies decided to restructure through business structural transformation. In particular, Hitachi and Fujitsu have reorganized their business structures based on digitalization and globalization, and have improved their business conditions. Along with the transformation of the business structure, electronics industry also proceeded with the transformation of the personnel treatment system. This is the socalled job-based employment and job-based wages. However, in the job-based employment and job-based wages introduced by Japanese companies such as Hitachi and Fujitsu, job grades are abstract and performance evaluation is also introduced. It is different job-based employment in Europe and America and should be called Japanese-style. Although it has been transformed into a Japanese one, if job-based employment spreads and becomes established, it may transform the employment system in Japan.
