In developmental period, hand grip strength increases with height growth. In the 57 years between 1964 and the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, the height increased by 7.3cm and hand grip rose 1.3kg in 6th grade girls. The purpose of this study is to re-evaluate the annual transition of average data in hand grip released from public offices, by comparing with the estimated value obtained by regression formula based on height development (Obara et al., 2012). Tradition of the changes in the comparison of estimated and average values over the years showed that there were three phases: "high maintained period 1964-86", "Dropped period 1987- 2003", and "slow decline period 2004 -21". Various game consoles were released in the 1990s, which was in a "Dropped period", and the Internet spread rapidly from the second half. The increased screen time children spend on games and smartphones leads to less outdoor play, which may be considered to be one of the major causes of muscle weakness. The co-creation of fun ways to increase opportunities for physical activities in elementary schools, which work together teachers and children would be needed.
