Kendo is practiced in elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, university classes, club activities, local communities, and dojos. This article is based on the experience of a person with experience in kendo and organizes the meaning of“ doing” kendo, taking into account newspapers and the effects of the new coronavirus. In addition, the content of the training and how to approach it in light of the coronavirus pandemic was also introduced. It was explained that “doing” kendo means realizing dreams and goals, building character development, building relationships, improving health and physical strength, improving mental strength, and acquiring problem-solving skills. It can be said that the way kendo is perceived, the way of thinking, the approach, the goals, and the meaning of “doing” vary from person to person. As people live, they gain various experiences and grow.“ Doing” kendo is a process, method, and means for growing as a person. There is no point in “doing” Kendo at the cost of destroying someone's mind or body. However, if the player has a chronic illness or becomes ill, the player can consult with a doctor before proceeding. If the player finds it difficult to grow as a person by“ doing” kendo, it was suggested that the player try leaving for a while.
