Abstract

The Department of Physical Therapy at Tohoku Bunka Gakuen University organized, a five-day “Community Physical Therapy Practice” in March 2023 for third-year students. This paper reports the course details and discusses the appropriateness of the timing based on responses to a questionnaire. Most students had a positive view of the timing of the course as it provided insights into the role of physical therapists in daycare or homecare rehabilitation. March was considered an appropriate month to start “Community Physical Therapy Practice.” However, careful consideration will be necessary in timing the course，as students are required to prepare for their fourth year.
