Abstract

This is an English translation of the divine poems and dialogues of Ookuninushinomikoto-no-mai and Orochitaiji in Bichu Kagura. In the class of Local Culture Practice of the Department of Community Welfare at Niimi University, students are taught to perform Kagura with these simplified versions by Toshifumi Ikeda, part-time lecturer and instructor of Karamatsu-sha Company of Bichu Kagura.
