It has been studied that in the period of the Freedom and People's Rights Movement (自由民権運動), many teachers were involved in this movement. In a case of Kamihabugun Chiba Prefecture, the warrior class teacher wasn't committed to this movement and taught students at its village school and his private school. Because some wealth farmers in this areas were interested in this movement, it wasn't easy for him to adapt to them. But the teacher got teaching certificates more and got down to sericulture, finally established a successful relationship with the local community.
