Abstract

各地域，其々の近世村落において，水害に対する対応の仕方は様々であり，違いが存在する。本覚書では，同じ千曲川（信濃川）流域に位置する二つの村落を取り上げ，その自然的条件，村落構造，生業構造の違いから，水害に対する異なった対応を取っていたことを確認する。

There were community-based and diversified measures of rural societies for flood disaster in Tokugawa period. We take up two village where are located in beside the Cikuma river（Shinano river）and ascertain that each rural societies took different countermeasures against flood disaster from the difference of the natural environment, the structure and the businesses of village.
