School counselors encounter with many problems in elementary schools, junior high schools and high schools. Of all problems, the issue of suicide is most difficult to deal with. Statistically speaking, suicide is committed by children of ten years and over. Children of nine years and under rarely kill themselves. A suicide has a very powerful effect on the school staff and on the other students.
