近年，高等教育機関におけるe ラーニングの活用が進み，LMS（Learning ManagementSystem）やe ポートフォリオなどを用いたさまざまな形態でのe ラーニングが実施されている。LMS などのe ラーニングとは異なり，e ポートフォリオでは学習者の主体的な利用が前提となる。特に，デジタル化により，従来蓄積の難しかった画像や動画などのコンテンツを利用してポートフォリオを作成できることは1 つの大きなメリットではあるが，それにともない学習者がシステム上での操作に習熟する必要がでてくる。そのため，いかに簡便なシステムを採用するかが重要になる。Mahara はオープンソースのe ポートフォリオシステムとして近年注目を集めつつあるが，このシステムにもいくつかの短所が存在する。そこでLMS であるMoodle 上にMahara のページ作成機能と同様のものを実装するプラグインの開発を行うことにした。これによりMoodle の特長を活かしつつMahara の短所を補う活動を行うことができる。本資料では筆者らが開発したプラグインの概要を説明する。

In recent years, e-learning systems are widely used in higher education institutions. Unlike LMS (Learning Management System), e-portfolios require learners’ autonomous use of the systems. Mahara, open source e-portfolio system, is known as the one that is easily connected with Moodle via Single Sign-On, and evaluated as one of the best systems. However, there are several problems that might interfere with the learners’ active use. We developed an e-portfolio plugin for Moodle, Ippitsu Kakiemon, which can be used intuitively like Mahara, and also solve the problems in Mahara.
