P(論文)

The purpose of study is to extract roads from the urban map, automatically. In the case that roads in the map are hidden by symbols or characters, the restoration of roads are also carried out. In the extraction, center lines are obtained based on the property that roads are usually consist of parallel lines. Next, the reconstruction of roads are made by using connection of center lines on intersection. Finally, some roads which are parted by symbols or characters are connected.
