説明

The Outsade Wall of Kaifeng was rebuilt in the ShenZong era until the ZheZong era. In the HouZhou dinasty ShiZong era that the Wall was built first. This Wall was not a very splendid thing. But the begining Song-dinasty leaders emphasized imperial morality instead of the outward appearance of the capital unlike Han-dinasty and Tang-dinasty. This philosophy was refered to ChunQiuZuoShiZhuan and ChunqiuGongyangzhuan. In the ShenZong era there was a claim to strengthen national power, the Capital Wall must be made higher. When claming this view, they often quoted Zhouli. Therefore, the Construction of the Outside Wall started. The beautiful appearance of the capital carries out and strengthens national authority. this was the aparant purpose for the second construction.
