Description

When stresses occurred in structures, geometrical stiffness is added to structures as well as stiffness caused by material and section dimensions. Considering and evaluating for RC-beams working in hoop stress added to geometrical stiffness by being wound around aramid fiber sheets. Now, many methods of construction were suggested for the purpose of reinforcing in concrete structure, and some methods have been already put to practical use. For the purpose of reinforcing to concrete structures and improving in stiffness of RC-beam, which are wound around aramid fiber sheets adding tensile stresses. In these state, compression stress is working in section of RC-beam, it seems that geometrical stiffness were given. In this report, considering RC-beams added to geometrical stiffness and their fracture behavior.
