Description

This paper deals with basic structure of a simple legal consulting system. A person to consult can get an advice of a law from this system by answering some questions. Each module reasons about a point at issue and leads an answer for an issue of law. Question contents are resolved into some issues by the system. This system has a module corresponding to every issue of law. The system makes advices from these answers to a person to consult. This system has some characteristics to show next. (1) The small system that we can execute with a personal computer. (2) The system has the expansibility that can support in revision of law. (3) The interface that it is easy to use for the person who does not know a lot about a law.
