Description

In education of information processing, especially for mechanical or electrical engineer, it is important to teach not only programming technique but also designing of digital circuit. From this point of view, we have developed some systems for experiment with digital circuit, in the past 10 years. Firstly, orthodox logical circuit trainer was developed. This system is one-board type trainer, and user can make digital circuit using patch cords. Secondly, unit type logical trainer was made. And thirdly, we developed logical circuit simulator. This system is operated on a personal computer, and user uses a mouse to draw circuit diagram on the CRT display. These systems have merits respectively, but it has been appreciated that the logical circuit simulator is the best system for students.
