近年、初年次教育の必要性は広く認知される傾向にあるが、次の学年である2年次生への教育に関してはまださほど議論がなされていない。本稿では、2年次生に共通して必要とされる教育があるとすればそれはどのようなものかを問う。具体的には、大手前大学における2年次教育実践を報告することで上記の問題に焦点を当てる。なお今回の2年次教育における主なテーマは「基礎的な学力の育成」と「社会人基礎力の育成」とした。

Today, the necessity of the First-year Experience has been acknowledged widely, but it seems to be rare to ask what the second-year education should be. In this paper, I discuss the role of the second-year education in college education through the practical report at Otemae University in 2010.
