Abstract

An analysis of railway vehicle behavior was carried out using the roller rig model. In particular, this included checking for hunting. Changing the wheel tread gradient, some experiments were conducted, and a comparison was made with the hunting theoretical value. This was examined in order to optimize the wheel tread gradient. We then examined the effectiveness at low speed on wheel tread inclination of 1/15 and medium speed on that of 1/30.
