抄録

In Japan, the population is declining and this cause many problems about existing buildings. Our society is changing from scraping and building to sustainable. And national government (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication) notified local governments to establish the plan of public facilities and Infrastructures management. Then local governments once establish the plan, but even now they ar e looking for concrete effective ways to manage their facilities and so on. To maintain their building stocks, life extension repairing method is important. Until now, extension work, repairing or demolish and rebuilding is usual. And then these days Reduction Work is focused on as Life Extension Repairing Method for Existing Facilities. But reduction work is not popular and we study about it. This report aims to introduce the case, Reduction Work for Existing School Building. The case of reduction work is rare and we don't have enough experiments. In this report, firstly we introduce flow of reduction work and special tools and machineries. Secondly, we introduce study and review planning,construction process.
