Abstract

本研究では，床面に映像が投影された領域内で手を差し出すことで差し出した手のひらに映像を表示し，その映像を閲覧できるシステム“手のひらインタフェース”を構築した．本論文は，本システムの設計方針と実装について説明し，行った3つの運用実験について述べる．その結果，本システムが公共空間での“パーソナルな情報提示”を可能にすることを確認した．

In this research, we propose a system that allows a user to read information personally in public spaces without wearing any hardware devices. This paper presents the interface system “palm interface”, which displays information on the palm of the user's hand. This interface employs a snow fall metaphor to induce the user's action to catch snowflakes of information. In this paper, we describe this system and the evaluation of this system.
