保育者効力感に関する主要な先行研究と, その周辺に位置する研究の概観を行った。保育者効力感と類似した概念である教師効力感研究がさかんになされているのに比較して, 保育者効力感研究はまだ少数であり, 今後の発展が待たれる領域であるといえる。今後の研究の方向性として, 保育者としての熟達過程を保育者効力感の側面から明らかにする研究の必要性が考えられる。そしてそのために, 保育者の職務内容を包括的にとらえることのできる尺度の開発も必要であると考えられる。

The purpose of this study was to review the studies on pre-school-teacher-efficacy. Contrast to many studies on teacher efficacy, a few researches were done on pre-school-teacher-efficacy. Only fundamental studies such as scale construction were seen, and more and more investigations were needed to give indications for pre-school-teacher education. Especially the studies on the relations of expertise and the changes in pre-school-teacher-efficacy were important for pre-school-teacher education.
