New freshmen students of the psychology department at Fukuyama University go through Peer-SupportTraining during the first term of the year. The purpose of this research was to clarify what they obtainedthrough the training program. The author participated in the program and investigated a group of six newstudents. As a result, it was suggested that they got to understand themselves and others better. In addition,they also seemed to have learned the importance of mutual cooperation.
