オノマトペ+つく」という形態を持った複合動詞の統語的および意味的特徴の分析を行う。「つく」には非能格タイプと、非対格があり、それぞれ異なったLCSを持つことを示す。また、オノマトペ表現は「つく」に対する副詞的付加語として機能し、「つく」のタイプによって、状態変化の結果を表すものと、活動の様態を表すものがあることを示す。

Japanese language is rich in so-called onomatopoeic or sound-symbolic expressions. Above all, compound words with onomatopoeic expressions are widely used. In this paper, we will investigate Japanese compound verbs with the form of "Onomatopoeia+tsuku" from the syntactic and semantic points of view. We will show that it will be necessary to assume two types of 'tsuku' (unaccusative type and unergative type), and that onomatopoeic expressions can be expressed in LCS as adverbials.
