Here we focus on the development of information and communication technology and the establishment of an analytical framework of transaction systems in supply chains. In order to clarify the kind of analysis of supply chain management we need to pursue, first I examine the definition of supply chain management, its problem points, and its specific methods. Then, I suggest an analytical framework of supply chain management, which is the main issue, and how this could be developed.
