Description

In order to examine the healing system of Hua Tuo(華佗), I compare it with the politicalsystem of Cao Cao(曹操). The Chinese character zhi(治) originally means "trying toarrange the changing chaos". To Hua Tuo, zhi means "trying to arrange the Qi(気) in humanbody" i.e."to cure". To Cao Cao, zhi means "trying to arrange the political chaos insociety" i.e."to govern". Furthermore, these two differing systems had contact throughthe medium of a disease. This contact gave eternal life to the healing system of Hua Tuoand gave another new disease to the political system of Cao Cao.
