A comparison was made of the cumulative grade point average (GPA) and the pass/fail results in national certification examinations (national exams) in the relevant fields of 48 students who graduated in 20XX with a major in B from Department A of Teikyo Heisei University(THU). The results showed that it was not necessarily students with high cumulative GPAs who passed the national exams, or students with low cumulative GPAs who failed them. We therefore quantitatively investigated a new method of ranking that differs from ranking by cumulative GPA, one in which high-ranking students would be the ones who passed the national exams and low-ranking students the ones who failed them. As a result, we were able to establish a method that creates a ranking of subjects that were key to passing national exams. This suggests that it may be possible to improve the pass rate in national exams by adopting national exam instructional measures based on this subject ranking for the other Departments of THU. BACKGRUND: Having a professional view point helps students who are working medical field. However students enter university without a basic career image. PURPOSE: The survey aims to clarify how the experiences of community volunteer activities and preparation program for the clinical training were reflected in their overall view point of a medical career. METHODS: The participants were first grade occupational therapy students. The anonymous survey was conducted February 2017, after clinical training. We asked the students how experiences and the program helped in forming a vocational image. A qualitative analysis of the description content was performed, using N-vivo Ver.11.0 for windows. RESULTS:44 of 58 responded. 24 students answered "Volunteer had a positive impact on clinical training". The reason was: experience was helpful, autonomy was acquired, motivation improved. For the preparation program, 33 responds indicated a positive influence for clinical training, there were seven nods: anxiety was reduced, manners were gained, working flow was improved, concrete preparation was possible, consciousness improved, realization of deficiencies, ability to ask questions. Regarding the difficulty of training preparation, there were two nodes: preparatory procedures, overcoming anxiety. As for remaining impressions during practical training, 4 nodes were extracted: surprised, tough training which I need, contacted with the patients, delighted. As for “what I would like to learn", three nodes were extracted: new knowledge in the field, past studies, experience. DISCUSSION: Students felt the volunteer experiences and training preparation were useful for clinical training. In volunteer activities, it was pointed out that students need to know the atmosphere of the site and to be aware at social skills. The training preparation program clarified various preparatory procedures, social rules, tasks and targets towards clinical training. The initial implementation of the volunteer experiences and the preparation programs, were useful for supporting students in clinical training. Background: There is knowledge that the flow state of concentrating attention makes people feel joy and restlessness. However, they have not been fully verified using physiological indicators. Objective: We investigated differences of stress when persons do activity items that varies in attention, intensive and difficulty degrees . Method : “Copying of a sutra", “Continuous addition" and “Number cross puzzle; Puzzle", we thought “Copying of a sutra" is the most easy and “Puzzle" is the most difficulty in three items, we carried out these three items for nine people of average age 22 years old including 5 women and 4 men. During their performing we investigated their stress using by salivary cortisol, amylase and Profile of Mood States questionnaire as index. Result:Changes in cortisol, amylase and POMS in “before work", “immediately after work" and “15 minutes after work" were the lowest in“copying of a sutra". “ Puzzle" was the most stressful. In all three items, stress in “15 minutes after work" was lower than “before work". Conclusion :Stress is relieved for work that allows for moderate concentration at your own pace. The difficult task is stress. However, even if it is stressful to do the work, before work, stress becomes less faint in 15 minutes after work. Sleep deprivation from long-term insomnia is known to be a risk factor for various diseases. In Japan, various surveys have found a prevalence of about 20% in the general population. From personal observation, women at the university do not seem to be getting the sleep they need. The aim of this study was to 1. conduct a preliminary survey to estimate the rate of insomnia in university women and 2. to design a pilot study testing the effect of a 15-min nap on improving psychological and somatic stress indicators of nighttime insomnia. For 1, a convenience sampling of 131 university women completed the Athens Insomnia Scale survey. Pathological insomnia (>6 score) was 54% in this group, higher than that reported in earlier surveys. For 2, a subset (10 of the above group participated in a study to test the effect of a 15-min afternoon nap (14:00 to 14:15) on psychological and somatic stress indicators of insomnia (75, test group; 27, control). Napping in the test group was reported to have a beneficial effect on psychological stress but not on somatic stress indicators. For young women, a short daytime nap may reduce psychological stress and lead to better management of stress. The purpose of this research is to clarify the causes of troubled and uneasy feelings of ALS homecare patients wearing ventilator, resulted from temporary hospitalization. The research method is a questionnaire survey for ALS home-care patients wearing ventilator, and 5 people responded. Meaningful contents in the answers to the survey items were coded about troubles and anxiety resulted from temporary hospitalization, and were analyzed qualitatively and descriptively using KJ method. From this analysis, 26 codes were extracted, and 6 subcategories and 4 categories [communication method], [attitude / attitude of nurse], [hospital room environment], [About life] were composed. This analysis suggested that temporarily hospitalized ALS home-care patients most need communication supports and hospitals should make efforts to improve hospital room environments tailored to each patient. Purpose: To clarify situations that could make women feel relaxed during delivery through feedback from postpartum women who were resting after childbirth Target and methodology: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with women who had vaginal delivery at A maternity home. The interviews were conducted with their consent during postpartum hospitalization. Based on their responses, factors related to relaxation during delivery were extracted. Results: Interviewers analysed the factors related to relaxation based on the responses of seven women and classified those factors into the following six categories: `what midwives did for them', `words spoken by midwives to them', `the presence of midwives themselves', `the presence of their family', `drowsiness' and `institutions and facilities'. Conclusion: Certain situations were pointed out as being effective in making women feel relaxed during delivery. None of them said that they had been unable to relax at all. Another finding was that midwives played a significant role in the relaxation of women about to deliver. Because of two cases of childhood cancer, this study will discuss how mothers informed their children that they had cancer during infancy, what the situation was, how they felt, and how their relationship with their children changed thereafter. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with two mothers of teenage children who had undergone cancer surgery during infancy. We recorded the contents of the interviews and analyzed their meanings. The interviews had been preapproved by the Research Ethical Review Board. gradually as he or she grew up. Each mother informed her child about his or her attack with cancer according to her own judgment. The comparison between the two cases shows that children accept without any confusion the fact that they had cancer during early childhood, when they are given the information gradually. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the achievement of the students, and to clarify the task for the future OSCE test, by their scores of the 1st OSCE test and questionnaire answers. The subjects are 99 students in 4th grade who took the OSCE test in 2015 and were informed and agreed to the research. Although all the score rates of 4 test assignments were 70 % or more, the score rates of the assignments vary widely according to their difficulty. Although the assignments with Standardized Patient (SP) brought a sense of reality and were effective, the score rate of communicational endpoints in the assignments was low. But considering the strong stress associated with the test, the rates suggest that they have almost acquired the ability to practice nursing required on graduation. The tasks for the future OSCE test are as follows: clarifying viewpoints of evaluation, content of evaluation, coordinating testing time and its difficulty, regulating the expression of evaluation items, orientation and scenario adjustment for SP, etc. Meiji period began in 1868. The Meiji government urged the establishment of the modern school system. The modern school system in Japan began with public announcement of the school system (GAKUSEI) in 1872. But the establishment of the modern school system involved many difficulties. I took up one elementary school in Noda city Chiba Pref, and studied how the school was formed and developed. As a result, the modern school system was closely related to the educational system of the Edo period. The establishment of the modern school system was aided by the local volunteers. There were many teachers with passion for education. The Matsuyama family has devoted to the formation and development of Noda Municipal Central Elementary School for several generations. The purpose of this study is to examine the definition, based on the characteristics of Japan, of spirituality through literature review. As a result, in the definition of spirituality, it is suggested that spirituality includes religiousness, constituting religious spirit and behavior, but does not necessarily focus on religiousness, instead, focus on the person's values or purpose of life. Then, the structure of religion is assumed to be four: (sacred or religious matter, (2)missionary or existential significance matter, (3)behavioral matter, including ritual or human relations matters, (4) benefit matters. The modern society ages, and globalization, computerization progress more and more, and ability for teamwork that I collaborate with others, and solves a problem occurring on a global scale is demanded. Upbringing of the ability for teamwork is demanded from such a background by the university education. I examine it the purpose of this study intends for the camping training that I carried out as a class of the universities, and how the teamwork ability of the student transforms it through training what kind of factor the transformation produces it by again. The target person is 21 university students who attended camping training. It was first and carried out the inventory survey consisting of 5 factors before and after training, and the analysis method compared the score before and after the training by t-test with the correspondence. Second I carried out three times of free description-type worksheets. As a result, a score after the training significantly improved with all low rank standards except "the independence" that was "claim" that was one element of "the communicative competence" and one element of "the team-oriented ability". In addition, from a free description with others of 1) first meeting is necessary; was involved, and the heterogeneity of 2) members, the cooperative problem solution by 3) games were interpreted as the factor of ability for teamwork upbringing. There were many discussions about what kind of personnel are the best talent for the organization. Through those discussions, recently, human resources who are highly motivated, acted spontaneously, and are competent is the best talent for the organization. But, von Moltke said that human resources who are Low Motivated, and are competent is the best talent for the organization. This is called Moltke's law. This study explores validation of "Moltke's law" using multi agent simulation. In this simulation, four types of agents work as security guards. This security guards patrol the target area. And the security guard arrests the suspicious person he found. Through this simulation I get data to confirm "law of Moltke". However, as a result of analyzing the data, I discover that I should further consider the elements of "motivation" in "Morutke's law". As a future work that expanded this research result, I would like to study the actual organization in which many agents interact with each other. Recently, e-portfolio has attracted attention as quality improvement and quality assurance of University Education. University faculty members will need to evaluate and comment on the submitted reports or achievements more than ever. From the essence of the e-portfolio, it is appropriate to evaluate and comment on submitted reports or achievements while considering every student. However, it will require a lot of time. In addition, if evaluations and comments were delayed, there would be a possibility that students could not deepen their understanding or would lose opportunities to do further consideration of what they originally intended. One solution would be to save comments once created. Another solution is to have the comment automatically generated according to the rubric evaluation of the report and the test result by using Excel. In this paper, I would like to introduce a way to automate comment generation. This method does not use the Excel VBA programming language, so it is not difficult for university faculty who are not familiar with programming. Therefore, I think that it is possible for many teachers to respond by this method. When we research modern Korean physical education, most important thing is to consider modernization of education system. Because it is the physical education at the dawn that made the foundation of the current physical education, and the fundamental part of it remains unchanged. This is the basis for analyzing how physical education policy has changed after Korea's independence by investigating the introduction period of modern education and modern physical education According to previous studies, there was an issue of acquiring “technique" for physical education in the 1920-30s. On the other hand, acquiring “technique" came to be related to forming character by the theory of Sukeichi Shinohara after 1936. This study considers how Asaichi Asai thought about value of acquiring “technique" and how he applied own theory to instruction methods to clarify the influence of Shinohara's theory on the issue of acquiring “technique". The historical materials used in this study are journal articles of Asaichi Asai published from 1936 through 1940. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1) Asai understood that the theory of Shinohara is to unify the body with the will and that acquiring “technique" enabled it. Therefore, he saw value as education of spirit in acquiring “technique". Concretely speaking, he thought education of spirit as unify the body with “Kaku" that is the will without “shiki" by acquiring “technique". 2) Asai thought that following four were necessary to practice education of spirit through acquiring “technique". First, it is to take interesting as a starting point. Second, it is to imitate other's “technique" critically. Third, it is to think combination of elements and factors while enduring pain, and to have plenty of practice. Fourth, it is to get skillful as the machine. 3) Asai applied own theory of acquiring “technique" mainly to instruction methods in gymnastics. Concretely speaking, first, he considered interest at the initial stage of practice, and he thought it was effective not to let students be conscious of workmanship to raise interest. Second, he explained it was effective to observe “technique" of the teacher and skillful student and imitate it. Third, he explained the method to divide a “technique" into plural elements and factors. In addition, he emphasized the importance of having plenty of practice.
