都市地域の緑化を推進するためには, その大きな部分を占める民有地の緑化を推進することの必要性が認識されるようになってきた.しかしながら, 民有地の緑化を推進するためには, 行政側においても, 民間の緑化主体側においても, 解決しなければならない幾多の問題が存在している.そこで, 近年, 民間の活力を導入し, 都市緑化の推進を図るため, 緑化基金が注目され, 現在, 46団体が設立している.本論文では, これらの現況を明らかにし, 6つのタイプに類型して, これらの問題点を把握して, 今後緑化基金の役割とそのあり方について考察を加えた.

In this article, we refer to the role and existing conditions of "Urban Green Space Development Foundation". The items which were considered are as follows; 1) Landscape plantings on private lands and financial support for them, 2) Existing conditions of "Urban Green Space Development Foundation", 3) Types of its foundation, 4) Problems of its foundation, 5) Future aspects for its foundation. We found that "Urban Green Space Development Foundation" is effective for landscape plantings on private lands, but we must solve several problems for it.
