The stress distributions and deflections of steel plate bridge decks with closed from longitudinial ribs which are built up with thin rectangular strip elements, and are convinient to apply folded plate theory, are disccussed.  Making use of finite Fourier transform in the longitudinal direction and finite Fourier integration transform in the transverse direction, the solution of the theoretical analysis of the decks is obtained in the terms of double Fourier series.  As numerical examples, the simply supported steel plate bridge decks which are subjected to partially distributed uniform tire load, are taken into account.
