This study aimed to determine the problems of support for students with developmental disabilities at Osaka International University and to identify solutions through a comparison of current issues.  Few students with developmental disabilities seek support commitments voluntarily, therefore it is necessary to establish a support system for students who may require help in the early stages. Furthermore, educational activities need to be provided based on training workshops within the university to create a conducive environment to encourage students with developmental disabilities to seek help.  It is also necessary to facilitate cooperation with outside experts for the employment of such students as they need support in the form of employment programs, including for part-time work, through which they can deepen their self-understanding.
