Abstract

A tool named "HTML_EDITOR_Plus(HEPlus)" was developed in order to support student's making of Web pages in the "Information and Computer" class. This software included an input tool bar, the preview function and the error check function. Evaluation on the practicality of this software was carried out on 2nd grade students in junior high school. As a result of using this software, the achievement rate was improved and the time for task completion was decreased. Also, students who intended to be more creative in the activity thought this software useful. These results suggested that HEP1us was effective as a learning support tool for making web pages in Technology Education.
