Abstract

From 2006 to 2009 elderly participants in the Miyoshi-machi PC seminar were surveyed about their personal computer experience. The purpose of the survey was to understand the level of literacy among the elderly. Our survey revealed that though the elderly can operate personal computers just as younger people do, their basic knowledge of computer functions was lacking.
