Abstract

With the increase in high level technology in modern nursing the number of clinical nursing accidents is rising. The origins are primarily carelessness linked to a lack of specialist knowledge or training coupled with a low awareness of safety procedures. To limit further accidents primary life-protecting awareness and vocational attitudes must be promoted. With a view to establishing how these issues are being discussed in basic nursing a survey of the teaching of 'Nursing liability at 140 Japanese fudamental Nursing Instiutes was taken.
