説明

First of all, this paper proposes a hypothesis that the Chinese particle Zhe is characterized as a “linear viewpoint” marker. This paper then examines the characteristics of Zhe, using the Chinese verb classification by Sun (2006). We investigate the cooccurrence of Zhe and verbs from each type, and analyze the temporal property of action. As a result, Zhe can cooccur with verbs that have a linear process in the temporal property. Consequently, it is proved that the Chinese particle Zhe functions as a “linear viewpoint” marker.
