Abstract

Anthrophobia is a subclinical concept familiar to the Japanese, and that many people can feel. This paper examines how the concept of anthrophobia in the Rorschach method can be understood. Anthrophobia has been linked to narcissism and is closely related to the concepts of "shame" and "guilt". In addition, it can lead to withdrawal or refusal to attend school, and it is therefore important to assess anthrophobia. In the Rorschach method, we examine not only the conventional human response and human movement response, but also the reaction time and test attitude. It was speculated that people with anthrophobia who seem to be in a state of intense tension would show a high score related to tension response. If this resulted in self-responsibility, there may also be many responses related to aggression. These hypotheses will be verified in future empirical research in clinical cases.
