Abstract

In the Izumi Shikibu kashu, there are a series of groups of poetry making an episode, which are developed by “kotobagaki”（a foreword to Japanese “waka” poetry explaining how it was composed）explaining both time and situations of how they are composed. This study reviews about both the originality and the purpose of composition of Shirakawain-Hanami-kagun which is considered as one of them.和泉式部家集の中には、詞書によって時間と状況が展開し、ひとつのエピソードを形作る一連の歌群が数カ所に見られる。その中のひとつと考えられる白河院花見歌群について、その創意性と構成意図を考察する。
