抄録

With the opportunity of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games held, interest in sports for persons with disabilities represented by the Paralympic Games has been increasing. In addition, there is no guarantee that the budget allocated to sports for persons with disabilities will be secured in the future due to the recent tightening of local government finances. Under such circumstances, I investigated the actual situation of the sports competition for persons with disabilities and discussed the significance and issues of autonomous management, using the case of “International Women's Wheelchair Basketball Friendship Games OSAKA CUP”, which have no budget from the local government.
