抄録

In the present report, I surveyed the bioethical problems in the social worker national certificated examination in Japan starting in 1988. Since then, the examination has been conducted once a year. According to the examination center, the scope of this examination covers General Medicine containing QOL, terminal care, informed consent, hereditary disease and so on. The examination also covers bioethical issues often found in General Care Work. The author insists on an importance of learning bioethics for the students studying social welfare.
