Japan has been changed in view of internationalization of the economy and the rise of developing countries. This change shakes up the Japanese traditional lifetime employ system. Non-regular employment accounts 30 % of employment in Japanese society now. Universities in Japan must revise carrier education and raise undergraduates as professional carrier to survive. We investigated the carrier education from elementary school to high school to reform carrier education in higher education. We developed a questionnaire for freshman. This asks students' past carrier education and their consciousness about the education. As a result of the investigation, we found out followings. 1) In 2008 of the revision of curriculum guidelines, the enhancement of carrier education in elementary school and middle school was stressed. 2) School education developed systematic carrier education from elementary school and high school based of the revision. A workplace experience as experience learning in junior high school was one of them. 3) Students who could decide their course when they were in high school had already considered their carrier in their elementary school and junior high school days. 4) Even though they developed carrier consciousness earlier, 80% of them feel insecure about their future carrier. They demand carrier counselor and specialist advice. 5) Some students wish to work local area in accordance with one's parents' wishes. These results suggested the need to let students recognize that education in university is carrier education. Moreover, it suggested that it is important to establish flexible carrier support system which can be free to modify the system to suit students' and social needs.
