抄録

現在，家庭における総消費電力の約1/6を照明が占めている. 低炭素社会の実現や化石燃料からの脱却を背景に，低価格品の市場投入や白熱電球からの生産シフトといった状況を受けて発光ダイオード(LED) を用いた電球や照明器具が多数市販されるようになってきた. 本論文では，エネルギ一変換領域の授業で用いることを目的とした3種類のLED照明教材及びこれらを用いた教員向け研修について述べている. 開発教材はLEDの一般特性を理解するもの，従来からある白熱電球や電球型蛍光灯とLED電球を一目瞭然で比較するもの及び商用電源を用いるLED電気スタンドであり，これらを用いて授業構成するための題材を提示する教員向け研修を実施した.

Approximately one-sixth of electric power consumption in a standard household in Japan is occupied by lighting. Recently, the market share of LED lamps and related lighting equipment is increasing every year due to the expectation of low carbonized society. In this paper，we discuss three kinds of learning materials related to LED which inc1udes a desk light and a workshop for teachers. The LED desk light consists of a rectifier, an array of 40 white LEDs in series and constant-current circuits made of current mirrors. Other materials are a test board for leaning characteristics of various color LEDs and a test board for comparing standard, fluorescent and LED bulbs. The most up-to-date information on LED lamps which inc1udes regulations and a showcase of incompatibility problem are provided in the workshop.
