We are now investigating the problem, "Why must corporations do philanthropy, especialy corporate mecenat?" To get the answer, we have published several papers such as, "Corporate citizenship management and corporate mecenat" and "What relationship are there between corporations and arts." These papers, however, are not perfect to gain our goal. We must explore study our task more. There are more important facts about corporate mecenat and corporate social responsibility. Because we can find significant relationship between social corporate responsibility and arts, we should try to find out essential factors between these two problems. R. Eells, one of the leading scholars on corporate social responsibility, discusses relationships between corporate social responsibility and arts. We want to get a clue to solve the problem of our task.
