1) Sebastiscus marmoratus and Sebastes inermis, the most important fishes among the marine ovoviviparous teleost, are collected monthly all the year round at Sasebo Bay. 2) There is a projection beheind the anus in the male, and the author recognized it as the copulatory organ from the histological and morphological point of view. 3) This projection is formed by juting out the end of the mesonephric duct and the urethra outward, and it is not the transformed fin such as in the other viviparous and ovoviviparous fishes. The mesonephric duct and the urethra open at the apex of this projection separately. 4) By this copulatory organ, the sex of these fishes can easily be distinguish. There is no projection in immature fish and the difference of both sexes is not recognized, so this projection is seemed as the secondary sexual character. 5) In the mature male, the copulatory organ in both species can be seen clearly in all the year, and especially it is prominent in half a year of before and after of the copulatory month. 6) There is a little difference in the histological figure of their copulatory organ in both species, but the copulatory organ has similar structure to the penis of the higher bertebrata in morphologically and histologically.
