本研究は、学生の思考過程を明らかにし、看護過程の教育を検討することを目的とした。中部大学において看護過程演習を履修した学生を対象に、同意が得られた学生の期末試験の1問の解答について、記載内容や記載数などを分析した。設問では、PES方式(Problem:看護診断、Etiology:原因・要因、Symptoms & Signs:症状・徴候)で看護診断を記載し、このPES方式での思考を基に目標設定、計画立案を課した。対象者108名のうち、105名の同意が得られ分析した(回収率96.2%)。看護診断をPES方式で整理した後の目標設定の段階が、学生にとって困難であることが見受けられ、PES方式に基づいた論理的な目標設定についての教育の工夫が必要であると考えられた。看護診断に医学診断名を挙げた学生は目標設定や計画立案には繋がっていなかったため、看護独自の役割と介入についてくりかえし指導する必要性が示唆された。また看護診断とその原因・要因、症状・徴候について整理が十分でない状態で、計画立案を導き出している学生も見られた。病態像の理解に基づき看護の視点に立った患者の全体像を捉えるような教育の工夫や、PES方式で整理した情報を基に目標設定、計画立案することを強調する指導が必要であると考えられた。

The purpose of this study was to clarify the thinking process of students and to examine the education of nursing process. For students who took nursing process exercises at Chubu University, we analyzed the contents and number of descriptions of the answers to one question in the final exam of the students who had given their consent. In the questions, nursing diagnosis was described in the PES Method (Problem:Nursing Diagnosis・Etiology : Cause/ Factor・Symptoms and Signs) . Of 108 subjects, 105 consents were obtained and analyzed(recovery rate 96.2%). After organizing the nursing diagnosis with the PES method, it seems that it is difficult for the students to reach the long-term goal, and it is thought that education for logical goal setting based on the PES method isnecessary. The students who gave the medical diagnosis name to the nursing diagnosis were not connected with goal setting or planning, suggesting the necessity to repeat the role and intervention unique to nursing. There were also students who came up with a plan in a state where the nursing diagnosis and its causes / factors, symptoms / signs were not well organized. It was considered necessary to provide instruction that emphasizes the planning of education based on information organized by the PES method, as well as education that captures the patient's overall picture based on an understanding of the disease state.
