本研究ではネパール国内で最も高濃度の地下水ヒ素汚染が見られているが,調査が十分でないテライ低地のナワルパラシ郡パラシ付近の集落を対象にヒ素汚染の実態と季節変動に関する調査を行った。また,ここではヒ素濃度の季節変化と地質構造の解析から,ヒ素汚染のメカニズムを明らかにした。

This research focused on groundwater arsenic contamination of high concentration of water which had beenseen in Nepal. In this research, data collection from the lowland Terai had not been enough for entire investigation.Hence, Survey had been conducted at the“parasi village"located at the“Nawalparasi"district. The dataanalysis had been done about geological structure and seasonal variation of arsenic concentration. Indeed, this researchdemand a concrete mechanism of arsenic contamination.
