本研究の目的は,行動的自立尺度(山田,2006)と大学生の心理的自立尺度(山田,印刷中)をより有用性の高い尺度とするため,それぞれについて,信頼性と妥当性の検討を行うことである。行動的自立尺度について,大学生148名を対象に質問紙調査を行った。クロンバックのα係数は,下位尺度の自立行動欲求で.823,自立行動で.819であり,高い信頼性が示された。また,多次元自我同一性尺度(谷,2001)との関連により妥当性を検討したところ,十分な妥当性が得られたと考えられる。大学生の心理的自立尺度については,大学生145名を対象に質問紙調査を行った。5つの下位尺度のクロンバックのα係数は.772～.852であり,十分な信頼性が確認された。自立尺度(大石・松永,2008)との関連による妥当性の検討では,自立尺度の下位尺度との間に有意な相関が多数見られたことから,概ね満足のいく妥当性が得られたと考えられる。最後に,本研究の限界と今後の課題について検討した。

The purpose of this study is to examine the reliability and validity of two different scales for adolescent psychological independence, which are BAT-J (Yamada, 2006) and PIS-U (Yamada, in press), and to make them more useful. To examine the reliability and validity of BAT-J, a questionnaire survey was administered to 148 university students. Cronbach's alpha for two subscales ("independent need" and "independent behavior") were .823 and .819, respectively, and those indicated high reliability of BAT-J. The results of correlational analysis of BAT-J withMultidimensional Ego Identity Scale (Tani, 2001) indicated that the construct validity of BAT-J was satisfactory. To examine the reliability and validity of PIS-U (Yamada, in press), a questionnaire survey was administered to 145 university students. Cronbach's alpha for 5 subscales ranged from .772 to .852, and that showed enough reliability of PIS-U. The results of correlational analysis of PIS-U with Independence Scale by Oishi and Matsunaga (2008) suggested that PIS-U had enough construct validity. Finally, the limitations and implications of this study were discussed.
