創造的リベラルアーツセンターの発足にともない、本学においてリベラルアーツ教育が始動した。持続可能社会実現のため総合的な人間力を養うことを目的とするリベラルアーツ授業は、調査・発表・ディスカッションといった学生の主体的授業参加の方法をとって行われる。本稿では、パイロット授業2つを紹介し、リベラルアーツ授業の現状と課題を検討する。取り上げるのは、「環境と生活」(細田衛士・石井洋二郎)、

The establishment of the Creative Liberal Arts Center has marked the launch of liberal arts education at the university. Liberal arts courses, which aim to cultivate comprehensive human skills toward achieving a sustainable society, are conducted through the active participation of students in course activities such as research, presentation, and discussion. This paper will introduce two pilot courses and examine the current status and challenges of liberal arts courses. The two courses to be presented are “ Environment and Life "(Eiji Hosoda and Yojiro Ishii)and “ Art and Society "(Yojiro Ishii and Junko Suzuki).
