Abstract
In this study, a hypothesis, that deep learning can be induced by introduction of the history of mathematics into the class, was analysed with the mixed approach method. According to the result of repeated two-way analysis of variance in the quantitative analysis using “self evaluation measure of deep learning”, no statistically significant difference has been observed between the research group and the control group. On the other hand, according to the qualitative analysis with the use of KH-coder, it was established that the data from around 3 months after implementation of the history of mathematics shows aspects of deep learning being achieved.
