In this study, a survey was conducted to clarify issues in the construction of welfare internship programs that facilitate the promotion of the appeal of the welfare industry to students other than social welfare majors and the securing of human resources. A questionnaire was conducted with the cooperation of 50 students who participated in the internship course at the university in the Kansai area in 2021. Based on the survey results, the following issues were identified: (1) consideration of providing information for its program, (2) possible modification of the contents of the welfare internship program to align it with studentsʼ interests and concerns, (3) bridging studentsʼ understanding of welfare work and understanding of the industry, (4) Matching the purpose of implementation of welfare internship programs by service providers with the purpose of participation by students, and (5) Considering various ways of conducting welfare internship programs
