In this paper, we examine the relationship between working conditions and a firms' performance. The result of this empirical research is that working conditions do not have a direct relationship to a firm's performance. However, working conditions affect employee turnover rates, and a firm's performance is influenced by the employee turnover rate (especially the rate for younger workers). So we conclude that working conditions are related to a firm s performance.
