本学では併設校との間で、長年にわたって様々な教育を連携して実施してきている。そのうち春日丘高校との2017年度連携協定にもとづいた授業では、大学での英語科目を先取りして履修することができる実践が開始された。本稿は、筆者が担当を引き継い2019年度から2022年度春学期に至るまでの変遷について記録するものである。2019年度に37名を対象に始まった本授業は、2020年度春学期には新型コロナ禍に直面し一旦閉講となった。2020年度秋学期は、タブレット端末活用が高校側に導入されたことを受け、44名の受講者と遠隔授業を実施した。52名が受講した2021年度は、新型コロナ感染拡大予防の観点から一教室の集合人数を半分にできるようにし、対面・オンライン学習のブレンド型授業を実施した。2022年度には62名が対象となったことから教員が2名に増員され、2パターンの授業のブレンドを工夫した授業を行っている。本稿ではこの3年半の授業方法の変遷に焦点を当てながら、どのように授業が実践されてきたかを報告する。

Over the years, Chubu University has collaborated with its affiliated schools on a variety of educational programs. In 2017, based on a cooperative agreement with Haruhigaoka High School, Chubu University began offering classes that allows Haruhigaoka students to take accredited English courses at the university ahead of their university enrollment. This study attempts to record how the English program has proceeded from Spring 2019 to Spring 2022. The program that started with 37 students was temporarily closed in Spring 2020 in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. In Fall 2020, as the use of tablets was introduced at high schools, remote classes were conducted for 44 students. With 52 students in 2021, in order to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, students were split into two separate classes and an online and face-to-face blended learning curriculum was implemented. As the number of students rose to 62 in 2022, the number of instructors in the program was increased by 2 and a new dual pattern class blend was developed. This paper reports on how the program has been implemented over the past three and a half years with a focus on the changes in teaching methods.
