Description

A starry sky viewing event "Hoshizora Hammock" was held on August & October in Milk Koubou Okuetizen in Ono City Rokuroshi Plateau, in which Fukui University of Technology collaborated with Ono City in which mutural cooperation agreement was signed. Fukui University of Technology branding project is an effort to develop tourism materials using the starry sky of Ono City that has been recognized as "Japan's Best Starry Sky". This report is in two parts. The first part summarizes the idea of space formation in Rokuroshi Plateau as a premise of the activities, and the second part summarizes the activities conducted based on that premise. The second part, this paper, reports on the venue plan with the arrangement of hammocks, three-demensional modeling Cotetra, and lighting, etc., intended to form a space suitable for starry sky appreciation in the "Hoshizora Hammock" event.
