東濃地方に伝承された地歌舞伎と振付師の活動について

抄録

type:論文

This paper first outlines the history of kabuki and ji-shibai (amateur kabuki performed at local festivals), and then describes the achievements of Dansho Matsumoto VI, who is indispensable in discussing ji-shibai (also called ji-kabuki)in the Tono region. The paper then touches on the situation of ji-kabuki in Gifu Prefecture, where Danjo Matsumoto II is currently active, and then introduces the work and role of a choreographer, including the practice of passing on the traditional performing arts of the region through instruction in children's kabuki. Kabuki and other traditional performing arts are of great interest, especially in Europe, so that it is quite possible that performances at local traditional theaters will become an inbound tourism resource in the near future.
