In this project, we conducted a field survey on the tourism situation under the Corona disaster. First, we conducted a survey of the castle town of Takayama City, focusing on winter tourism events. Second, in order to compare with Takayama City, we surveyed two castle towns, Gujo City in Gifu Prefecture and Inuyama City in Aichi Prefecture, focusing on infection prevention measures. Infection prevention measures were observed in restaurants and tourist facilities in each castle town. Gujo City and Inuyama City were very crowded with tourists, as was the case before the Corona disaster.
